May-Sep	Team Penning & Ranch Sorting practice sessions/clinic open to public @ Monterey Co. Sheriff's Posse arena, 395 Old Natividad Rd, Salinas, on Tuesday & Thursday evenings. Time: 5:00 - 8:30 PM. Cost $20.00/horse. Come out and play/practice/hone your ranch penning and sorting skills in our lighted arenas. Bring out that young colt or filly that needs cattle exposure. Hosted by the Mo. Co. Sheriff’s Posse. There will be a high point buckle series running May through September.

Jun 17 Jul 29 Aug 19 Sep 30	Team penning competition - buckle series by sponsored by MCSP & CSHA region 10. After 4-rounds of a draw pot penning for points from July through September, the high point series winners were Greg Painter, Peter Dewitt and Judith Huggins. Prizes were given through 5th place. First place winners were awarded a trophy buckle. Second place winners were awarded a blanket with a custom leather corner piece. Third place winners were awarded a custom monogram headstall. Fourth place winners were awarded a gift certificate. Fifth place winners were awarded a western picture frame. Watch this WEB site for news about for 2008 events.
